No. 16 Kentucky Hosts No. 25 Missouri Beginning Friday Night

by UK ACPR

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Two very similar ballclubs meet on the baseball diamond this weekend when No. 16 Kentucky looks to stay hot with No. 25 Missouri coming to town. Both clubs boast strong pitching depth and opportunistic lineups.

Friday night’s game is at 6:30 p.m. ET, Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at noon on the SEC Network. Fans can attend Saturday’s open football practice before making their way to Kentucky Proud Park.

The Wildcats (22-3, 5-1) have won 18 of their last 19 games, including a 10-8 road win at Western Kentucky on Tuesday where Jackson Gray and Grant Smith drove in seven total runs via the long ball. Missouri (19-6, 3-3) defeated rival Illinois and Lindenwood earlier this week.

Each of the past four series between the schools has seen the home club claim the weekend series.
