LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 19 Kentucky Volleyball team will play host to the Ole Miss Rebels on Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. ET inside Memorial Coliseum.

The first-place Kentucky Wildcats are 5-1 in Southeastern Conference action to this point in the season, sitting at the top of the standings with Florida and Auburn at the one-third way mark of conference play. UK is 10-5 overall and sits No. 12 in the NCAA’s latest RPI, up 12 spots from its initial ranking of 24 last week.

Wednesday night’s match will be televised live on SEC Network, ESPN+ and the ESPN app with Courtney Lyle and Katie George on the call from Lexington. Tickets are available by visiting UKathletics.com/tickets or by calling the UK Athletics Ticket Office at 859-257-1818.

Ole Miss enters Wednesday night’s match with a 7-9 overall record and is an even 3-3 in league play. Second-year head coach Kayla Banwarth has guided the Rebels to wins over LSU and Alabama twice in the league with a key non-conference win against Texas State.

Reagan Rutherford and Emma Grome both took home honors from the Southeastern Conference on Monday afternoon with Rutherford winning SEC Player of the Week and SEC Offensive Player of the week and Grome winning SEC Setter of the Week.

For Rutherford it is the second time this year she has won SEC Player of the Week and SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Grome was crowned the SEC Setter of the Week for the third time this season Monday.

Kentucky leads the all-time series with Ole Miss, 50-11 and has won the last 19 in a row dating back to Oct. 10, 2010 when the Rebels last beat UK in a sweep of the Wildcats. Last season, the match went five sets in Oxford with the Wildcats collecting a 3-2 win on Sept. 29, 2021. Kentucky has not only won the last 19 matches with the Rebs but extended to 23 of the last 24 wins.

Ole Miss has an RPI of 99 led by 3.69 kills per set from Anna Bair.
