Flying High: Kentucky Looks to Take Flight vs. Dayton

by UK Athletics Communications and PR

Kentucky will go under the lights on Tuesday as it hosts the Dayton Flyers at Kentucky Proud Park before taking to the road again this weekend.

The Wildcats (22-18) are coming off a hard-fought series versus Vanderbilt that saw them robbed – literally – of a series win when Jacob Plastiak saw his potential three-run, go-ahead home run pulled back over the fence for an out by centerfielder Enrique Bradfield Jr. It was the third time in four games UK saw a potential homer robbed by an opponent.

UK will travel to Florida this weekend but host the Flyers (18-18) first for the first time since they met twice in 2016. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. on SECN+ and tickets can be purchased at UKBaseballTix.com.
