Kentucky Seeks to Extend Momentum From Weekend
Fresh off its second series win over a top 10 opponent this month, the Kentucky baseball team hosts nearby Eastern Kentucky looking for the 2,000th all-time win in program history on Tuesday.
Before No. 9 Ole Miss arrives this weekend, the Cats (17-8, 2-4 SEC) look to extend their dominance over EKU, which has not beaten UK since 2016. Infielder Daniel Harris IV and pitcher Darren Williams each transferred after the 2021 season from EKU and have played against UK in their career.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET. Gates open one hour prior to first pitch.
Seth Logue is expected to get the start on the mound for Kentucky. He is 1-1 with a 5.70 earned run average this season and has 27 strikeouts to just five walks in 23.2 innings.
