Kentucky Men’s Tennis Match Against Northwestern Canceled

by Ryan Cullinane

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Friday’s scheduled men’s tennis match at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center between the 10th-ranked Kentucky men’s tennis team and Northwestern has been canceled.

The team will provide scheduling updates as they come available.

As a result, UK’s next match will open Southeastern Conference play against Alabama on March 4 at 5 p.m. ET at the Boone Center. The teams have played previously at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Kickoff Weekend, where the Wildcats bested the Tide in a 4-2 result.

Admission to all home matches for Kentucky Tennis is free of charge to the public. For any indoor match held on UK’s campus, masks for all attendees are required in conjunction with the University of Kentucky’s indoor mask mandate currently in place. Doors to the Boone Tennis Complex will open one hour prior to the start of each match.
