UK Soccer Returns Home for ETSU Midweek

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky men’s soccer team will begin a four-match home stand Wednesday against East Tennessee State University.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
The setup
The Wildcats (won 3, lost 2, drew 1; 0-1-1 Conference USA) have allowed four goals this season and all have been from dead-ball kicks. Kentucky has scored eight times.
ETSU enters Wednesday with a 2016 record of 4-2-0 (yet to play in conference). The Buccaneers have won two in a row including a 1-0 upset at then-top-ranked North Carolina last Tuesday. ETSU has also won four of its last five.
Kentucky has lost two road matches in a row. Kentucky fell 1-0 on Sept. 10 at Furman and 2-1 last Saturday at Florida International in the C-USA opener.
Kentucky will be playing at The Bell for the first time since winning 1-0 v Louisville on Sept. 6.
The Wildcats are 2-0-1 at home this season. ETSU is 1-2-0 away from Johnson City, Tennessee.
The logistics
Gates will open at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for the general public and $2 for youth and seniors. Fans can purchase tickets online via Ticketmaster or by calling (800) 928-2287, or at the ticket window at The Bell.
Kentucky’s 600-plus season ticket holders can wear their 2016 Kentucky Soccer scarves to gain admission.
Parking for the match is first come first served located outside the stadium’s main entrance. Overflow parking will be available above the soccer practice pitch.
The first 250 fans in attendance will get a commemorative Kentucky v ETSU match poster.
UK players will sign autographs on the side of the pitch following the match weather-permitting.
The precedent

Kentucky has won both meetings in Lexington, and ETSU has won both meetings in Johnson City.
