LEXINGTON, Ky. — The 2008 Kentucky Winter Wildcat Baseball School, set for Dec. 22-23, has been relocated from the Nutter Field House, to the Champions Sports Complex located in Nicholasville, UK head coach Gary Henderson announced.

The camp, designed for ages 6-14, offers young players the opportunity to prepare for the spring season in a fun and positive learning atmosphere. The camp includes baseball fundamentals, drill work and simulated game situations.

Other UK baseball winter camps, including the Pitching, Catching and Infield Camp, the Wildcat Hitting Camp and the Winter Wildcat High School Camp, scheduled from Dec. 27-29, will still be held at UK’s winter home, Nutter Field House.

Kentucky opens its 2009 season on Feb. 20 in Myrtle Beach, S.C., facing Coastal Carolina, James Madison and Troy.
