The Kentucky baseball team underwent its annual MLB Scout Day on Wednesday afternoon, attracting over 30 scouts from around the region. The Wildcats split up into two teams and played an intersquad scrimmage, sending a different pitcher to the mound for each inning and splitting up the defensive repetitions evenly.

Highlighting the scrimmage for the ?Blue? were hits from Sawyer Carroll, Tyler Howe, Troy Frazier, Chris Bisson, Anthony Ottrando, and Kevin Carby. Bisson, Carby, and Ottrando each delivered run-scoring base hits in the fourth inning, with Carby ripping a 1-0 offering into right center for a double.

The ?Grey? team also had some highlights offensively, as Keenan Wiley, Brian Spear, Marcus Nidiffer, Michael Seaborn, and Kevin Bishop each contributed hits. Spear, the UK single-season record holder for walks, notched a double down the left field line for an RBI. Chris Rusin, Greg Dombrowski, Clint Tilford, Andrew Albers, and Scott Green each toiled a scoreless inning on the mound.
