LEXINGTON ? Members of the Kentucky baseball team took their time Thursday night to read to school children at Lexington?s Cassidy Elementary School.

Among the team members reading were Lexington natives John Shelby, Michael Bertram and Collin Cowgill, all of whom started for the Wildcats in 2005.

UK, which recently concluded fall practice, opens the 2006 season in February.
