No. 10/11 Kentucky Wildcats (5-1)
vs.
Indiana Hoosiers (2-3)

Saturday, Dec. 11 – 1:30 p.m. ET
Freedom Hall – Louisville, Ky.
TV: CBS

After holding Morehead State to its lowest point total since facing Kentucky in 1995, UK travels to Louisville for the first of two consecutive games at Freedom Hall. The Wildcats, who defeated the Eagles 71-40 Wednesday, play Indiana in the schools? annual neutral-site game this Saturday before returning to Freedom Hall next weekend to face Louisville.

The defensive effort against the Eagles was the best by a Wildcat team since holding South Carolina to 40 points during the 1998-99 season. Morehead shot just 27 percent from the field, while four Cats tallied double figures.

Kelenna Azubuike led the way with 21 points for his third-consecutive 20-point game. Chuck Hayes had his fourth double-double in six games with 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Shagari Alleyne came off the bench to add 11 points, eight rebounds and six blocks in 17 minutes. Patrick Sparks had 10 points and six assists.

Scouting the Hoosiers

Indiana travels to Louisville with a 2-3 record after suffering three consecutive losses to college basketball powerhouses. The Hoosiers opened the season with wins over Indiana State and Western Illinois before falling to then-No. 9 North Carolina, 70-63, in Bloomington on Dec. 1.

IU then traveled to then-No. 7 Connecticut to face the defending national champion Huskies and lost a close decision, 74-69, last Saturday. On Wednesday, the Hoosiers hosted Notre Dame and were handed a 10-point loss, 55-45.

Mike Davis is in his fifth season as head coach at Indiana after serving as an assistant there for the four previous seasons. He owns an 83-56 record as a head coach and was the first coach in Indiana history to begin his tenure with three consecutive 20-win seasons and three straight NCAA Tournament appearances.
