A total of five current and former University of Kentucky baseball players were named to the 2001 Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll the league office announced on Tuesday, May 14.

Andy Green (finance), Jeff Meade (management) and Josh Paxton repeated their honors from last season, while Jason Wolfe (kinesiology) and Austin Madison (communication) made the list for the first time.

To be eligible for the award a student-athlete must have a 3.0 grade point average for either the past year or a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for their career. In addition, student athletes must be a sophomore or higher in terms of academic classification and have 24 semester of 36 quarter hours toward a degree.
