NCAA Volleyball Game Day Information
GAME DAY INFORMATION
Doors to Rupp Arena will open one (1) hour prior to first serve.
We encourage volleyball fans to arrive early to ease traffic and parking congestion around downtown Lexington.
First Round – Thursday, November 30th
- Game 1 – 4:30pm – James Madison vs. Baylor
- Game 2 – 7:30pm – Kentucky vs. Wofford
Second Round – Friday, December 1st
- Game 3 –7:00pm – Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2
PARKING INFO
The High Street Gate 2 parking lot opens 3 hours before first serve. It is directly across from Rupp Arena.
Vehicles which park in the designated accessible parking spaces must display either a temporary hang tag or permanent state license plate with the accessible parking notations.
Patrons parking in the Gate 2 or Gate 3 lot are encouraged to show their game ticket or mention they are attending the Volleyball match for entry into the lot.
All parking in these spaces is on a first come, first served basis.
RUPP ARENA A-Z
- ANIMALS
- Only service animals are permitted.
- ATM
- The nearest ATM is located inside the lobby of the main entrance at High Street. There is also an ATM at the Hyatt Regency-Lexington located next to Rupp.
- BAG POLICY
- Rupp Arena enforces a clear bag policy as an additional safety measure and to facilitate entry. Each fan will be permitted to carry one large clear bag – either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or a 12″ x 6″ x 12″ clear bag – plus a small clutch that does not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″. The small clutch allows privacy for small personal items and is also easily searched. The clear bag policy improves public safety by making bags easily searched and significantly reducing faulty bag searches. Fans are encouraged not to bring bags to reduce touch points.
- CODE OF CONDUCT
- In order to keep Volleyball games as enjoyable as possible for all, the University of Kentucky asks that all patrons respect those around them. The University of Kentucky reserves the right to remove any individual from Rupp Arena who displays conduct that may endanger or disrupt players, coaches, officials, or other patrons. No refunds are given in such cases.
- CONCESSIONS
- Concession stands are located on the Main and Upper Concourses of Rupp Arena
- Concession locations are opened based on projected attendance
- No outside food or drink is permitted inside Rupp Arena
- Rupp Arena does not accept cash as a form of payment for concessions
- Acceptable forms of payment include all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa) and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay)
- CREDIT CARDS
- VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are accepted at all merchandise and concession stands, as well as the ticket office windows.
- DISABLED GUEST SERVICES
- Accessible seating is available throughout Rupp Arena on the concourse level in sections 30, 32 and 33.
- All accessible seating is reserved. Those fans needing a wheelchair space or accessible seating should visit or call the UK Ticket Office at (859) 928-2287 prior to match day.
- Disabled parking is available in the parking lot outside of the main entrance in Gate 2 or 3 of High Street.
- ENTRY
- All patrons entering Rupp Arena may enter via the main entrance located on High Street.
- Rupp Arena will utilize walk through metal detectors at events.
- Patrons will be requested to remove items like cell phones, keys, bags/purses and large metal objects that may set off the alarm, thus requiring further inspection.

- FIRST AID
- The First Aid room is located on concourse level behind Section 33/34 of Rupp Arena.
- FAMILY RESTROOMS
- If you are in need of a family restroom during your visit to Rupp Arena, you will find multiple family restrooms on the concourse level, behind concessions stands outside of sections 13/14 as well as next to the concession stand of the main entrance, near sections 32 and 33.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER
- In cases of severe weather, your safety is our utmost importance. Announcements will be made to all spectators regarding any evacuation procedures.
- LOST AND FOUND
- Lost & Found items will be turned into UK Event Staff or Rupp team members in match. Following the match, all items will be turned over to the UK Police Department, 859.257.1616

- Following the game, please contact the University of Kentucky Police Department (859)257-UKPD (8573) to inquire about the possible recovery of any lost items.
- MERCHANDISE
- Championship apparel vending is available on the northeast area of the concourse behind section 11 of Rupp Arena.
- NOISE LEVEL
- All noise levels at Rupp Arena meet the acceptable decibel level. If this level exceeds your comfort level, you are welcome to head to the first aid room located on the west side of the concourse level near sections 33/34 for a complementary pair of earplugs to ease the volume to your preferred level.
- PROGRAMS
- Programs are available digitally, via QR codes located all around the concourse.

- All weapons, including firearms, carried either concealed or openly are prohibited items at UK’s Memorial Coliseum per KRS 237.115. Anyone in violation of this will not be granted entrance into Memorial Coliseum

- SECURITY CHECKS
- For security reasons, all persons and bags entering Rupp Arena are subject to search.
- All patrons will adhere to walk through metal detectors at events
- All bags must adhere to the UK Athletics Clear Bag policy. All bags and items will be searched. To avoid additional touch points, fans are strongly encouraged to not bring unnecessary bags to Rupp Arena.
- SMOKING
- In accordance with the University of Kentucky’s Smoke-Free Campus Initiative, Tobacco products and electronic cigarettes are prohibited inside as well as outside of Rupp Arena.
- TEAM & GUEST PASS LIST
- To gain entry via team pass list, please enter through the High Street Main Entrance. Each guest MUST show a photo ID at the pass list table.
- TICKETS
- Doors to Rupp Arena will open one (1) hour prior to first serve.
- All persons must have a ticket or an NCAA credential to enter the Arena at any time.
- Wildcat Sports Passes are NOT valid for free entry at any NCAA event.
- The UK Ticket Office is located within the main entrance at High Street. Upon entry, proceed to the left. To purchase tickets, please visit the Rupp Arena Ticket Office, which is attached to the Hyatt Regency.
