Kentucky Seeks to Get Back on Track Vs. Morehead State
Facing adversity for the first time this season the Kentucky baseball team will look to get back on track as it returns home to Kentucky Proud Park this week, beginning Tuesday against in-state opponent Morehead State.
The Wildcats (14-7) were swept by No. 3 Arkansas in their Southeastern Conference-opening series last weekend. Morehead State (7-12) serves as “get right” game before No. 17 Georgia comes to town, if the Cats can take advantage.
Star shortstop Ryan Ritter homered on Sunday, his fourth in the past seven games, as he continues to heat up out of the leadoff spot.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET. It is Ladies Night at the ballpark with the first 125 ladies receive a UK sports band. Gates open one hour prior to first pitch.
