Kentucky Cross Country Races in Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday Morning
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky gets back into action at the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET at Tom Sawyer Park for its third meet of the season.
The men’s team will run in an 8,000-meter race beginning at 9:30, followed by the 5k women’s race that gets started at 10:15.

Following Friday’s race, the next meet for the Wildcats will be on Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. ET in Terre Haute, Indiana for Pre-Nationals.
Men’s Team Outlook
In the last time out for the men’s team, UK finished sixth at the Panorama Farms Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia last Friday. Brennan Fields led the way in that meet after finishing in 16th, followed by Trevor Warren who was Kentucky’s No. 2 finisher with a 21st-place finish.
The men’s team on Saturday will be comprised of Dylan Allen, Jacob Brizendine, McLean Griffin, Stephen Larson, Max LeClair, Kai Muniz, Gabriel Szalay and Shane Williams.
Women’s Team Outlook
The women’s team finished in third at the Panorama Farms Invitational in their last time out. The Wildcats were led there by Perri Bockrath with a 20th-place finish while Kaitlyn Lacy was UK’s No. 2 finisher with a 25th-place finish.
For the race on Saturday, Kentucky will have Rachel Boice, Sydney Burke, Rachel Curry, Lauryn Grady, Kaylie Kenne, Madisyn Peeples, Gracie Streeval and Sarah Whitaker competing.
