No. 10 Kentucky Set to Polish SEC Slate at No. 16 Missouri
COLUMBIA, Mo. – With the regular season dwindling down to its last few contests and postseason play just around the corner, No. 10 Kentucky (5-5, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) is peaking at the right time. On the tail end of three straight 197-point performances, the Wildcats head to the Hearnes Center for the final SEC meet of 2019. Kentucky takes on No. 16 Missouri (5-9, 1-5 SEC) on Friday at 6 p.m. ET.
The Cats’ latest outing was a 197.200-196.800 win over No. 9 Alabama last Friday at Memorial Coliseum, good for the third-best finish in program history. Alex Hyland, who checks in this week as the nation’s 12-ranked all-around performer, earned the fifth all-around win (39.525) and 19th beam win (9.900) of her career. Danaea Davis and Katie Stuart (9.875) tied one another for the win on vault, while Sidney Dukes and Mollie Korth (9.925) did the same on floor.
Last season, Kentucky defeated Missouri 197.100-195.125 in Lexington. Friday’s meet will be televised live on SEC Network.
