LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky women’s soccer team (7-5-3, 3-2-3 SEC) will host the Ole Miss Rebels (7-9-0, 0-8-0 SEC) at the Bell Soccer Complex on Friday, Oct. 23 at 7:30 p.m. ET. The match will be streamed on SEC Network+.

The Rebels own the all-time series record against the Wildcats, going 14-11-2 over three decades. The last time Ole Miss and Kentucky met was on Oct. 10, 2025, when the two teams traded goals, ending in a 1-1 draw. After the Rebels scored in the first half, defender Anna Sikorski found the equalizer in the 57th minute with a penalty kick goal. Kentucky most recently defeated Ole Miss in 2015, 4-2.

So far this campaign, the Wildcats have earned a record of 7-5-3, including a conference mark of 3-2-3. The Cats added two points to their SEC standing last week, battling to a 1-1 draw at No. 21 Auburn and a 0-0 tie at Tennessee. Kentucky currently sits in seventh in the SEC standings, tying Texas and Georgia with 12 points. Returning to the Bell, the Wildcats have gone 5-2-1 on their own pitch this campaign.

Sophomore goalkeeper Megan Holland was recognized as the SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week after her dynamic performances last week. Over the two matches, Holland recorded 12 saves and a shutout, her second of the season. The Illinois native notched a career high of six saves in both road battles, bringing her season total to 50 saves. Holland currently ties with Texas’ Bayliss Flynn for most total saves in the conference. The two also shared first in most saves per game, each boasting an average of 3.33. Throughout this campaign, the goalkeeper has logged five matches with five or more saves, including an active streak of four consecutive performances.

For her play in the comeback victory over No. 25 Texas, Elise Ernest was crowned SEC Freshman of the Week on Monday, Oct. 12. This is the third time the honor was picked up by a Wildcat, with Kyla Dawn supplying the other two. Both freshmen made immediate impacts at Kentucky, starting in every match this season. Dawn currently ranks 22nd in the nation in total goals with 10, the most by any freshman in the SEC and the second most in the NCAA. In the conference, the Dallas native places third in both goals and points (22).

Also contributing at a high level is senior midfielder Nadia Ramadan. The transfer from Alabama has played in every single match this campaign, starting in 13 and scoring seven goals for the Wildcats. The consistent core for Kentucky is led by Katherine Truitt, Michelle Moskau, Juliette Rayo and Lexi Tylenda, who each have started in every match and recorded over 1,000 minutes of play this campaign.

As a team, Kentucky ranks in the top 25 nationally in three key offensive categories: total goals (11th NCAA, 3rd SEC, 37), scoring offense (16th NCAA, 3rd SEC, 2.47) and corner kicks per game (24th NCAA, 3rd SEC, 6.93).

The Rebels have gone 7-9-0 this season, including a conference record of 0-8-0. Ole Miss has not won a match in SEC play since 2023. In their most recent battle on Oct. 18, the Rebels fell 6-1 at home to Oklahoma. At the helm of the team is first-year head coach Todd Shulenberger.

The match will be themed as International Night. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite international kits and bring international flags. Additionally, the first 150 fans that arrive at the Bell can grab a free, Kentucky-branded scarf.

Admission to all 2026 Kentucky Soccer regular season home matches will be free to the public. For the latest on UK Women’s Soccer, follow the Wildcats on Facebook, Instagram, X and at UKathletics.com.
