UK Athletics to Transition to Cashless Payments This Fall

LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky Athletics will go cashless at on-campus venues starting this fall, making transactions faster and easier for fans.

All concessions and retail locations, including the UK Team Shop, will accept all major credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa) and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay). Cash will no longer be accepted at points of sale.

Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center has been a cashless facility since 2022.

In Kroger Field for 2026, day-of sales of Wildcat Seatbacks and game programs will remain cash only. Fans can still pre-order Wildcat Seats online for $8o for the season.

This and other upgrades for Big Blue Nation – fan-friendly core concessions pricing, an enhanced selection of restaurant-quality food and local favorites — are made possible through UK’s Enterprise Services Partnership with Compass Group.
