UKVB Non-Conference Schedule Finalized with Bluegrass Battle

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Volleyball non-conference has been finalized with the announcement of the 2026 Bluegrass Battle at Historic Memorial Coliseum as the three-day event from August 28-30 will see the Wildcats play two matches against Utah State and South Florida.

The tournament kicks off Friday, Aug. 28 at 2 p.m. ET as South Florida will face off against Eastern Kentucky followed by a match between Kentucky and Utah State in the nightcap at 7 p.m. ET. Saturday will also be a two-match day with EKU playing Utah State at 2 p.m. ET in the opening of the Saturday schedule followed by a 6 p.m. ET showdown on Saturday evening between the host Wildcats and South Florida.

Saturday will mark the final match of the week for UK and EKU as the tournament wraps up with a neutral-site battle between Utah State and USF on Sunday, Aug. 30 at Noon ET inside HMC.

Kentucky’s full non-conference slate has now been announced, with all dates, locations and opponents released. Times and television assignments will continue to be announced as the summer carries on in conjunction with the ESPN and network television partners.
