LEXINGTON, Ky. – Four Wildcats on the men’s swimming and diving team have received All-SEC Honors for the 2025-26 season. Those athletes include All-SEC Second Team member Levi Sandidge and three All-SEC Freshman Team selections in Dziugas Miskinis, Lysander Osman, and Falemana Tuufui.
For the All-SEC Teams, the First Team consists of the top finishers in each event at the SEC Championships, and the Second Team consists of the second- and third-place finishers in each event. The All-Freshman Teams consist of any redshirt or true freshman who finished either in the top eight or is the highest scoring freshman of each event at the SEC Championships, excluding relay events.
For the past two seasons, Sandidge brought home a silver medal in the 1650 freestyle event at the SEC Championship, qualifying him for the 2026 NCAA Men’s Championship. He finished third overall, swimming the fifth fastest time in that event of all time in 14:22.26 and marking him as a First Team All-American in that event for the third time of his collegiate career. This is Sandidge’s fourth All-SEC nod in four years, making him one of Kentucky’s most elite swimmers.
Freshman Dziugas Miskinis also swam the 1650 free, for which he qualified for the 2026 NCAA Championship alongside Sandidge. At the SEC Championship, he swam a personal best 14:46.91 to claim seventh and the All-Freshman Team nod.
Osman, a standout from France, received the All-SEC for his sixth-place performance in the 100 back. The freshman qualified for the NCAA Championship in that event and finished 16th overall in just his first year.
Osman was a huge part of the relay teams for the Wildcats all season long as well, alongside fellow French freshman Tuufui. Although Tuufui did not compete in any individual events at the NCAA Championship, he performed well enough at the SEC Championship to pick up the All-SEC Freshman Team honor as well. He is also the fastest Wildcat in school history after just one collegiate competition season.
Although the Wildcats will lose Sandidge to graduation, the All-SEC freshmen will continue to put in the work this summer and prepare for the next season in their college careers.
