  • Kentucky is 25-10 and West Virginia is 28-7.
    • UK has 25 wins for the first time since 2018-19 (25).
    • UK is 6-7 against AP ranked teams this season.
      • It is the first time UK has won at least six games against ranked opponents since 2015-16 (8).
  • This is Kentucky’s 19th appearance in the NCAA Championship, including its second straight.
    • UK is 25-18 all-time in the NCAA Championship.
    • UK is 6-8 all-time in the Second Round.
    • This is the third time in program history UK has defeated a top-four seed in the NCAA Championship.

  • Kentucky used the starting combination Tonie Morgan, Asia Boone, Amelia Hassett, Teonni Key and Clara Strack for the 10th game this season.
    • This is UK’s third starting lineup this season.

    • UK won the opening tip for the 21st time this season.
    • Amelia Hassett was the first player to score for Kentucky for the fifth time this season.
    • Jordan Obi was the first substitute off the bench for Kentucky for the 10th  time, respectively, this season.

    • UK moved to 3-0 when it is tied at halftime, including wins over No. 5 LSU and No. 5 Oklahoma.
  • Kentucky used a 7-0 run out of halftime to take a 43-36 lead and force West Virginia to take a timeout.
    • UK led WVU, 26-14, in the third quarter to take a 12-point lead into the final stanza (62-50).

  • UK is the first team in SEC history to have two player make at least 94 3s in the same season (Vanderbilt has a chance to accomplish that feat this season, too).

  • Teonni Key, senior forward, had a team-lead 19 points and 10 rebounds for her seventh double-double this season.
    • She has led UK in scoring three times this season.
    • She hit double-digit scoring by the seventh minute in the second quarter.
    • It is the ninth time this season she has had 10+ rebounds.
    • She added two assists.
  • Clara Strack, junior center, had 18 points and 14 rebounds for her 16th double-double of the season.
    • She is now 10th on the program’s all-time, single-season scoring list (591).
    • She added a team-lead four assists and a team-lead four blocks.
      • She improved her single-season school record in blocks to 91.
    • She is the fifth player ever to have at least 18 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and one steal in an NCAA Championship game.
  • Tonie Morgan, senior guard, played all 40 minutes. She had 15 points, three assists, two rebounds and two and a career-high-tying blocks.
    • She went 9-of-10 from the FT line.
  • Amelia Hassett, senior forward, had nine points on two 3s and 3-of-3 from the line.
    • She extended her school record to 98 3s.
    • She has made multiple 3s in 28-of-35 games this season.
    • She added six rebounds, one assist and one steal.
  • Asia Boone, junior guard, also had nine points on three 3s.
    • She has made multiple 3s in 27-of-35 games this season.
