Kentucky STUNT Wins Two More Games on Saturday

ROCKLIN, Calif. – The Kentucky STUNT team won two more games on Saturday, topping UC Davis 25-1 before winning a hard-fought game against homestanding Jessup, 28-21.

In game one, Kentucky faced UC Davis and the Cats started the game strong. UK took all four points in the first quarter, partner stunts. Quarter two, pyramids and tosses, saw the Cats take four more points, giving UK an 8-0 lead at the half.

Kentucky extended the lead in the third quarter, jumps and tumbling, taking five points compared to one for UC Davis. In the fourth quarter, team routine, the Cats put the finishing touches on the win, taking all 12 available points.

In game two, Kentucky faced the second-ranked Division II school in the country, Jessup University. The Warriors grabbed the lead early, taking five points in the first quarter to just one for the Cats. The second quarter saw UK cut into the deficit by taking five points to Jessup’s three.

Kentucky climbed even closer in the third quarter, taking five points to Jessup’s four. The Cats clawed all the way back in the fourth quarter, taking 17 points while the Warriors earned just nine.

Kentucky returns to action on March 19, facing East Stroudsburg in the Music City Classic in Nashville.
