LEXINGTON, Ky. — As announced on Friday, Head Coach Shelley Jaudon has released the women’s tennis program’s fall 2025 season schedule. This marks the second season that the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships will be held in the fall instead of the spring as previously.

The 2025 fall schedule features six tournaments before the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in Orlando, FL. This includes many in the southeast, where the Wildcats will take on individuals and doubles pairs from the SEC and other conferences around the country.

Fall play will begin in Greenville, S.C. at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic from September 12-14. They will then move onto ITA play to qualify for the NCAA Championships, with ITA All-Americans in Cary, N.C. from September 20-28 and ITA Regionals in Knoxville, Tenn. from October 16-21.

Depending on the results of those events, the Wildcats will then head to either ITA sectionals in Baton Rouge, La. or ITA Conference Masters in San Diego, Calif. from November 6-9.

They will resume play following those events at the Vanderbilt Invite in Nashville, Tenn. from November 7-9, which will be the last meet before the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in Orlando from November 18-24.

Led by seniors Zoe Hammond and Ellie Myers, the Wildcats 2025-26 women’s tennis squad will feature a mix of new and experienced student athletes. Hammond finished last season as the No. 25 singles player in the ITA, playing first singles all the 2025 spring season. Junior Julia Zhu, who played much of the spring at second singles, also looks to continue the momentum she gained last season after spending most of the season ranked in the top 100 in singles. Sophomore Asuncion Jadue also looks to take on a new role, leading the two incoming freshmen Reese Sager and Elena Molla Pons and sophomore transfer Marina Fuduric.
