UK Cross Country Releases 2025 Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky cross country and head coach Lonnie Greene have announced the release of the 2025 fall season schedule, which is set to kickoff on Aug. 29 in Knoxville, Tenn. with the SEC Preview at the UT Cross Country Course.
Following the season opener in Knoxville, the Wildcats will travel to Huntsville, Ala. for the Southern Showcase at John Hunt Park on Sept. 12. Next up for the Cats will be a trip to Stillwater, Okla. for the Cowboy Jamboree on Sept. 26 at the Griener Family OSU Cross Country Course.
In the final regular season meet of 2025, Kentucky will feature in the Pre-National Invitational in the team’s first of two trips to Columbia, Mo. on Oct. 18.
Postseason competition will begin on Halloween night, as Kentucky will return to Knoxville, Tenn. for the SEC Cross Country Championships, followed by the NCAA Southeast Regional in Charlottesville, Va. on Nov. 14.
The Wildcats will close out the 2025 season back in Columbia, Mo. at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 22 at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.
