Pre-College: Kassie O’Brien joins Kentucky Volleyball from Katy, Texas as a 6’1” setter. O’Brien plays her club volleyball for the Houston Skyline volleyball program’s 17 Royal team, where she has had immense success against some of the nation’s best players. O’Brien plays her high school volleyball for Cinco Ranch High School, where she surpassed 4,000 career assists and helped lead her team to the 6A state tournament for the second time in school history last season and the first time since 2009.

“Kassie is an elite setter and complete player at the setter position,” Skinner said. “She is extremely driven and early on in the process she asked if she could enroll early to get a head start on the college game.
