Cole Hage Named NCBWA Preseason All-American

Kentucky senior utility player Cole Hage has been named Second Team Preseason NCBWA All-American, it was announced Thursday. He earned the honor at the designated hitter position.

Hage, from Fargo, North Dakota, will be playing his first season at Kentucky after an impressive career at Columbia University where he earned First Team All-Ivy League honors each of the past three seasons. He also earned Academic All-District honors each of the past three seasons.

Hage, who is expected to play some outfield with the Wildcats as well, had a tremendous 2024 with the Lions. He batted .329 in 161 at bats over 42 games with 52 runs, 10 doubles, two triple, 13 home runs, 38 RBI, 27 walks, 16 HBP and six stolen bases. He slugged a ridiculous .658 as part of a lofty 1.129 OPS.
