Men’s Soccer Returns to The Bell for Sunday Doubleheader

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men’s soccer (3-5-5, 2-2-2 Sun Belt) will return to The Bell Soccer Complex to host Coastal Carolina (3-8-2, 1-3-2 Sun Belt) for a 7 p.m. EST Sunday matchup. The contest will be the second half of a doubleheader with Kentucky women’s soccer.

The Wildcats enter the contest after falling 1-2 at Central Florida while the Chanticleers are fresh off a 2-3 loss at home to Old Dominion. In the midweek clash with the Knights, senior Logan Dorsey scored his fifth goal of the season with assists from Martin Soereide and Josh Gordon.

Kentucky and Coastal Carolina hold an all-time series record of 2-1-3 (UK) with the first matchup taking place in 2002. The two programs last went head-to-head in the 2023 regular season which resulted in 1-1 draw in Conway, S.C.

The Wildcats currently sit in fifth place of the Sun Belt Conference standings while the Chanticleers are T6 with Georgia Southern.

Big Blue Nation is encouraged to Pack The Bell in blue with match promotions including 150 season scarves and candy bags available at the marketing table upon entering the stadium.
