ESPN Announces Kentucky Gymnastics to be Featured Six Times
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Gymnastics program will be featured on the ESPN Family of Networks six times in the 2023 regular season, ESPN and the SEC Network announced Thursday afternoon.
The Wildcats will have two of its home meets inside of Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center nationally televised, with four road appearances set to air on the linear networks of ESPN.
SEC Network will air 19 regular season meets featuring head-to-head SEC competition this season, including eight in the month of January alone to start the season.
In addition, ESPN2 will air four meets with Kentucky being featured in one of them as the Wildcats compete with the Florida Gators in a nationally-spotlighted meet in Rupp Arena on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m.
Big Blue Nation can catch the Wildcats on SEC Network at Auburn (Jan. 12) with first touch at 8:30 p.m. EST followed by a 9 p.m. start at LSU on Friday, January 19. Excite Night in Rupp Arena will feature the Georgia Bulldogs for a 7 p.m. start on January 26 with coverage on the SEC Network. The other two SEC Network meets for Kentucky will see UK travel to Alabama for an 8:30 p.m. meet on the network (Feb. 2) and an 8:30 p.m. start at Arkansas to follow February 23.
Both sessions of the 2024 SEC Gymnastics Championship will be televised live on SEC Network. The event will take place on Saturday, March 23 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, La. The top four teams in the regular season will compete in the evening session at 8 p.m., proceeded by the afternoon session of the bottom four regular season finishers at 3:30 p.m.
