How It Happened
- Kentucky got off to a hot start, making five of its first 10 attempts from the field, to lead Boston College, 13-11, at the first media timeout (4:57).
- Emma King got the ball rolling for the ‘Cats, scoring a 3-pointer on the first possession in the game.
- Boston College took the lead out of the media timeout on back-to-back buckets, 15-13, a lead that it would hold at the end of the first quarter
- Neither team made a bucket in the final three minutes of the first quarter.
- Kentucky trailed Boston College, 21-17, at the end of the first quarter.
- It was balanced scoring to start the second quarter, with both teams scoring four field goals up to the media timeout (4:29), as Kentucky trailed Boston College, 32-28, at that break.

- Eniya Russell scored Kentucky’s first six points in the period, on a pair of free throws, a layup in the paint and a jumper.
