2002 – Appeared in 16 games for the Wildcats in defense… Made 10 starts, including the final nine games of the season… Solid defender on the outside of UK’s back line… Assisted on team’s first goal in the MAC Tournament against Buffalo.

2001 – Started seven of the 10 games in which he appeared… Tallied an assist in 3-1 win over Buffalo… A key component to the UK defense that shut out nine opponents… Member of MAC and SEC Academic Honor Rolls.

2000 – Played in 11 games and entered the starting lineup for last six… Solid addition to the defensive corps during the postseason, helping the Cats notch three shutouts in the MAC Tournament and one in NCAA play.

1999 – Did not see any game action.

Pre-College – Five-time team captain for Mequon United FC, capturing three state championships and Cup MVP honors in 1996… A two-year letterman at Marquette University High School, where he was named Best Defender and All-Conference… Honor Roll member… Chose UK over Colorado, Missouri, Dayton and Butler.

Personal – Born Sept. 23, 1981, in Milwaukee, Wis…. Son of Barbara and James Pykett… Also enjoys racquetball and paintball.
