Women’s Tennis Takes On ITA Regionals in Knoxville, Tenn.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky women’s tennis is set to compete at the 2023 ITA DI Women’s Ohio Valley Regional Championships, Oct. 19-23, at the University of Tennessee.

Kentucky will be represented by three doubles teams with seven Wildcats taking on singles play on Thursday.

Draws for the first day of competition were announced early Wednesday morning. Those qualifying out of the regional championships at the conclusion of the final day of play will move on to ITA Fall Nationals in San Diego next month.

Day One for the Wildcats will feature the following matchups beginning with singles play in the morning. Play will be held at the University of Tennessee (UTK) and at the Knoxville Racquet Club (KRC). All times listed below are in Eastern Standard Time.

Women’s Open Singles Draws:

Ellie Eades (UK) vs. Paola Silva Campigotto (Murray State) – 9 a.m. (UTK)

Elizabeth Stevens (UK) vs. Mariia Fedenko (EKU) – 9 a.m. (UTK)

Zoe Hammond (UK) vs. Mariia Hlahola (Belmont) – 11 a.m. (KRC)

Lidia Gonzalez (UK) vs. Ellie Brotherton (Xavier) – 11:30 a.m. (UTK)

Maialen Morante (UK) vs. Alana Wolfberg (UT) – 1 p.m. (UTK)

Ellie Myers (UK) vs. Alessia Truden (ETSU) – 1:30 p.m. (KRC)
