PERSONAL

  • Hobbies: Singing/songwriting/playing the guitar, cinematography/social media, choreography
  • Why Kentucky: “I fell in love with Kentucky after coming to summer camp in 2019. Then, after coming on my official visit, I distinctly remember at the last team activity we did, the girls on the team said, “bye, see you tomorrow” to each other, and I remember feeling so jealous. I told my mom, “I would do anything to be able to say ‘see you tomorrow’ to this group of people.” That’s when I knew that this was the community I needed.”
  • One thing people might not know: “One thing people might not know about me is that every week, when I go to the grocery store, I buy flowers and put together a bouquet for someone. I pray about who I think may need them and write them a little note to hopefully make their day. This exercise not only impacts the person I gift the flowers to, but it also helps me maintain a heart posture of gratitude. I keep a small bouquet for myself in my room from the leftover flowers, so that whenever I see them, I think of that person in my life that I’m so grateful to have as a friend.”
  • Hidden Talent: “Outside of gymnastics, I sing everyday…anytime, anywhere. And, on Sundays, I lead worship at my church.”
