Kentucky Men’s Tennis Wraps-Up ITA Regionals
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Freshman Charlelie Cosnet reached the Round of 16, while the doubles tandem of Alexandre LeBlanc and JJ Mercer advanced to the semifinals as Kentucky concluded play at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships on Sunday.
The tournament was co-hosted by the University of Louisville and Bellarmine University and featured five days of competition in both singles and doubles.
Six Wildcats took part in the proceedings, with Heman Nama, Jonathan Sorbo and Tate Sandman joining Cosnet, LeBlanc and Mercer in the field. In all, Kentucky posted seven victories in singles and five in doubles play.
The ‘Cats next head to Winston Salem, N.C. where they will partake in the Wake Forest Invitational, Oct. 28-30.
