Wildcats Close out 2008 with Chippewas

The Wildcats head into their 2008 finale with Central Michigan, riding a five game winning streak and having won 10 of their last 11 games including a 76-69 win over Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

Patrick Patterson posted his eighth double-double of the season with a team-high 27 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. The 6-9 sophomore played all 40 minutes while hitting on 75 percent (12-of- 16) of his field goal attempts.

Jodie Meeks continued his torrid offensive pace, posting 18 points. The 6-9 junior, who leads the SEC in scoring (24.2 ppg) is averaging 32 points over his last three games while shooting 59.6 percent from the field in that span.

Perry Stevenson also contributed 10 points, six rebounds and two blocked shots in the win.
