On Aug. 31, 2014, UK Athletics dedicated the Wendell &  Vickie Bell Soccer Complex, named in honor of two of the department’s most strident supporters. “The Bell” is a $7.7 million facility with a new grandstand, locker rooms, lounges, training facilities, press box and game-day offices for UK’s men’s and women’s soccer programs.

The look of the facility matches John Cropp Stadium, the adjacent home of the softball program, making for a striking visual at one of the main entry ways to the University of Kentucky campus.
