2016 (Sophomore): Competed in seven meets during the 2016 campaign after overcoming injury and recovering from surgery at the end of her freshman year … Competed on uneven bars five times, vault four times and balance beam three times … Scored a season best 9.85 on bars twice, first against Missouri (2/12) before doing so again at Arkansas (2/26) … 9.85 on bars at Arkansas led the team … Posted a season best 9.825 on vault at Arkansas as well … Score a season-high 9.85 on balance beam at the SEC tournament (3/19) … Scored a 9.775 on vault, 9.8 on uneven bars and a 9.8 on balance beam at the NCAA Regional in Tuscaloosa (4/2) … Helped Kentucky to the second and third highest team scores in program history against Arkansas (196.7) and Florida (196.65) in back-to-back weeks … Named to SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll.
2015 (Freshman):
Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the all-around, the 12th UK
gymnast to earn a bid to nationals … Named to the All-SEC Team and became the
first Wildcat in program history, along with teammate Cori Rechenmacher, to be
named to the SEC All-Freshman Team … Competed in all 12 meets as a freshman on
vault, competed 11 times on bars, nine times on beam and four times on floor
and in the all-around … Won six event titles, highlighted by a 9.900 on floor
at the SEC Championships’ first session … Competed at the NCAA Championships
after a 39.125 in the all-around at the NCAA Regionals … Posted a career-best 9.900 on floor, at the
SEC Championships … In just her second all-around performance, notched a
career-best 39.400, highlighted by a career-high 9.925 on beam, to win both
events along with a 9.850 on floor, her third event title of the meet … Earned
back-to-back scores of 9.900, on Feb. 20 vs. Arkansas and on Feb. 27 at Florida
… Tallied a 9.875 on uneven bars, good for a career best on Jan. 16 in her
Memorial Coliseum debut.
Pre-College: Competed
for Gold Medal Gymnastics and was coached by Robin Ewing-Bodem, Krystle Cook
and Jackie McCarter… Competed for the last four seasons at level 10 … In
2013, qualified for JO Nationals and placed second on balance beam and vault,
fifth on floor and eighth in the all-around and earned an invitation to train
at the U.S. National Gymnastics Training Center in Huntsville, Texas …
Finished second in the all-around, uneven bars and vault at regionals and was
selected as a Region 5 All-Star Team Member in addition to being named to
Gymnastike’s Region 5 Best Ten JO Moments … Won three titles and placed no
lower than third in the all-around this season in addition to posting wins in
every event at least once … In 2012, placed no lower than second in
all-around in regular season competition, which included three first-place
finishes … At the state championships, won the uneven bars and vault
competition and placed second in the all-around … Qualified for JO Nationals
in 2011 after winning vault and finishing third on floor and eighth in the
all-around at regionals … As a student at Liberty-Benton High School, was an
honor roll student and was nominated as an “Outstanding” STRIDES
member, a program recognizing leadership at her high school.
