No. 10 Florida Sweeps No. 23 Kentucky With 7-1 Win Sunday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 10 Florida Gators capped off a sweep of No. 23 Kentucky on Sunday afternoon with a 7-1 win at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium in Gainesville thanks to five early runs in the first two innings and a two-run homer late in the sixth.

Florida outscored Kentucky 26-4 overall in the series and limited the Wildcats to just one extra-base hit on the entire series, as the Gators had 13 extra-base hits on the weekend including seven home runs.
