John Cropp Classic Moves Up To Thursday With Expected Weather

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2024 John Cropp Classic has moved up its start date to Thursday, March 14 due to expected weather moving into Lexington on Friday. The tournament will now have two games Thursday beginning at 3 p.m. ET, and the schedule for the remaining days will be assessed on a day-by-day basis based off getting the maximum number of games in for each team.

With the adjusted schedule, South Dakota State will now play Ohio State at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday followed by a 6 p.m. ET game between Kentucky and South Dakota State. At this time, it is projected that there will be no games at 10 a.m. ET or 12:30 p.m. ET on Friday as was expected. However, with the weather patterns changing, games will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis with communication coming through UKathletics.com and @UKSoftball on X.

Ticket information will be relayed from the UK Ticket Office to season ticket holders and single-game/session ticket holders in the coming hours.
