UKathletics.com to Stream NFL Pro Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky will hold its annual NFL Pro Day for draft eligible players on Friday, March 23 in the Joe Craft Football Training Center and the Nutter Indoor Field House at 9 a.m. ET. Pro Day, which attracts scouts and player personnel from nearly every NFL team, will be streamed live on UKathletics.com and SEC Network +, beginning at 9:15 a.m. ET. Former Wildcats Jeff Piecoro and Freddie Maggard will host the show. Pro Day is not open to the public, but will be open to credentialed members of the media.

The athletes will be put through a variety of skills tests which includes running and agility drills, bench press, position-specific drills and the vertical jump.

Interviews may be conducted following Pro Day at approximately 11 a.m.

The NFL Draft is set for April 26-28 in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. This is the first draft to take place in an NFL stadium, and the first to be held in Texas. For the first time, coverage of the first two evenings of the draft will be carried on broadcast television, with Fox and NFL Network carrying a simulcast featuring personnel from both the NFL Network and Fox Sports.
