Women’s Swimming Completes 2024 NCAA Championships

ATHENS, Ga- Kentucky women’s swimming’s Bridget Engel and Grace Frericks wrapped up the final day of the 2024 NCAA Championship at the Jack Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium on the campus of the University of Georgia on Saturday. 

Frericks started competition for the day in the 200 yard backstroke, her best event this season. She placed 18th after swimming a personal best time of 1:52.67. Her swim was the eighth fastest time in program history. Engel completed her senior season in the 200 yard breaststroke, where she posted her season best time of 2:10.19, earning her a 31st place finish. 

Next up for the Wildcats, Carson Hick, Levi Sandidge and Ryan Merani will represent the men’s swimming team in Indianapolis, Indiana at the men’s 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, March 27-30.
