• Played quarterback at three high schools during his prep career, starting at Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory in Hollywood, Florida
• Moved to William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida as a sophomore before becoming a two-year starter as a dual-threat quarterback for Jupiter High School in Jupiter, Florida
• Coached by Tim Tharp at Jupiter
• Recorded 2,000 yards passing, 700 yards rushing and 27 touchdowns in helping the Warriors finish with a winning 6-4 overall record in 2019 after a 3-7 record in 2018
• In his season finale, he accounted for 554 total yards, 419 in the air and 135 on the ground, and nine total touchdowns, five passing and four rushing
• Earned Palm Beach County High School Player of the Year at the Lou Groza Award Celebration hosted by the Palm Beach County Sports Commission and presented by the Orange Bowl 
• Named first-team All-County
• Played in the Florida All-Star game for the South
• Elected team captain
• Excelled in the classroom as an honor roll student all four years of high school
• Chose Kentucky over Georgetown, Columbia, and Davidson
