Played in eight games, earning starts v ETSU and Detroit … understudied Napo Matsoso and came up with some great performances in his place … was man of the match in a 0-0 draw with Memphis (Sept. 12) … Scored the game winners against UAB and Detroit in consecutive matches … the UAB goal came late on in a match late in the C-USA season proving pivotal to helping UK win its first C-USA regular season title … Scored v Evansville finishing the season with a career-high three goals … took four shots in 291 minutes.

Saw action in 15 games, starting the opner v Wright State … Had assists against Belmont and ETSU … logged 447 minutes, a career high.

Saw action in 11 games, making two starts … Logged 294 minutes … Finished the season with one goal and four assists … Scored his first career goal vs. Valparaiso … Had two assists vs. IPFW and Florida Atlantic … Played a season-high 50 minutes vs. IPFW and at Xavier … Named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
Pre-College
Hails from down the road at East Jessamine High School in Nicholasville, Ky., where Miller was coached by Tom Morgan … A four time letter winner at East Jessamine, Miller, along with current UK classmate Kaelon Fox, has played club soccer for Lexington Futbol Club 95 under the guidance of Matt Vogel since 2005 … While with Lexington FC, Miller helped lead the team to a state final in both 2009 and 2010, capitalizing on nine goals and recording six assists while Lexington FC ended the year 13-5-7 … During his sophomore year, Miller was named team captain and helped to lead East Jessamine to a regional final while earning all-state honorable mention and all-district team honors as the team’s leading scorer and MVP… The same season for club, Miller saw action in the Crossroads of America Showcase, and led Lexington FC to a MRL 1st Division Championship while scoring ten times and setting up five goals as the team finished 17-3-1 on the season … The 2011 campaign for East Jessamine saw another season with Miller as captain, leading scorer and offensive MVP. Miller also was named all-district for the second consecutive year and first-team all-state … The club season saw Miller score a unprecedented 17 goals and picked up seven assists, as Lexington FC reached another state final, a CASL Showcase Championship as well as Disney Showcase Championship from the Copa Division … During Miller’s senior season, Miller was named captain for the third straight time at East Jessamine.

Born Samuel Grey Miller to Craig and Sherry Miller in Lexington, Ky. … Has one brother, Cameron (20) who played on the Centre College soccer team … A third-generation Wildcat, as both parents as well as his grandfather attended Kentucky … A member of the National Honor Society, Youth Salute and named to an NSCAA High School All-American Scholar in 2013 … A volunteer with the Humane Society, as well as Jessamine Co. Road Clean-Up Crew, Meals on Wheels, Pass-Back Program Coordinator, peer tutor for disabled classmates and a volunteer assistant coach for LFC club teams during the off-season.
