Indoor (Junior) – SEC Javelin Champion at home stadium … NCAA Javelin Runner-Up … 2014 Canadian Senior Javelin Champion … First-Team All-American and First-Team All-SEC in the javelin … broke the UK school record, and extended it multiple times — including to76.72m/251’8″ at the NCAA Championships, where he was narrowly eclipsed in the final round by Oregon’s Sam Crouser competing in front of a home crowd … USTFCCCA All-Academic selection.

2013
Outdoor (Sophomore) – Named a team captain … USTFCCCA All-America selection for the second consecutive season as he placed fifth at the NCAA Championships … SEC Javelin runner-up for the second year in a row, earning All-SEC honors in the process … Top javelin throw 71.68 meters / 235′ 2″ was recorded in fifth-place showing at Texas Relays … Has won three of the five javelin competitions he’s entered … Placed third at one of the nation’s top throws competitions, the Triton Invitational hosted by UC-San Diego … Competed in the discus once with a collegiate best throw 34.96 meters / 114′ 8″ coming at season-opening USF Bulls Invitational.

Indoor (Freshman) – Competed in the shot put with a collegiate best 14.09 meters / 46′ 2.75″ being recorded at Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.

2012 (Freshman)
Outdoor – Earned All-America honors by virtue of his top-ten performance at the NCAA Championships … Set the school javelin record (75.41 meters / 247’05”) at Texas Relays in late March …. Placed second at the SEC Championships on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge to earn second-team All-SEC regonition as well as SEC All-Freshman honors … Finished sixth in the javelin (74.04 meters / 242’11”) at NCAA Outdoor Championships at Drake Stadium.

High School
Finished eighth in the javelin at the World Youth Championships in Bressanone, Italy in 2009 … Finished in fifth in the javelin at the Pan American Junior Championships in 2011 … Gold medalist in the senior javelin as a senior in the Ontario Federation of School Athletes Association Track and Field Championships … Silver medalist in the senior javelin as a junior at the OFSAA Track and Field Championships … Gold medal in the junior javelin as a sophomore at the OFSAA Track and Field Championships … Coached by Kevin Knight … Also a talented basketball player … Member of student council, athletic council and student mentor program … Prevalent member of the community, volunteering in the Optimist Club, Road Races, My Slovenian Cultural Club and church.
