Pre College:A native of Nicholasville, Ky., Maddie is one of the two Kentuckian’s in the 2012 recruiting class … Played club soccer for Lexington Futbol Club ’94 Premier … At LFC, Lockridge was her team’s all-time leading scorer, and all-time leader in assists … LFC was a state semifinalist in 2011 and finalist in 2010. Played high school soccer for West Jessamine High School, where she led her team to the state Final Four for the first time … Named to the 2011 all-state team … Led her team in scoring for 2011 and was first-team all-academic from 2009-2011 … Off the field, racked up many academic accolades including AP Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, DAR Scholarship winner, and served as a teaching assistant to students with cognitive disabilities … Daughter of Tom and Jennie Lockridge … Major is Broadcast Journalism.

What is the worst Christmas gift you’ve ever been given? A purse that was a hollowed out soccer ball with a strap.

What would people be surprised to know about you? I have 16 years of dance training in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary.

If you had a horse in the Kentucky Derby, what would you name it? Forrest Gump

Who is the best soccer player in the world outside of Messi? Wayne Rooney

What is your prized possession? My Boston terrier, Lucky.

Why did you choose your jersey number? I’m hoping some Anthony Davis magic will rub off on me.

Who is the most famous person in your cell phone? The actor, Steve Zahn

What song gets you pumped up for a game? 300 violin orchestra

Who is the funniest player on the team? To me, it’s Arin Gilliland

What is your favorite city to visit? Paris, France

What is your biggest fear? Being trapped in a confined space

What is one food you will absolutely not eat? It would be easier to name the two or three things that I will eat

What is your dream job? Either UK Athletic Director or a Nike Women’s Soccer Executive

Who have you not seen in concert that you want to see in person? Coldplay and Ingrid Michaelson

What’s one of your most interesting life stories that sets you apart from everyone else? My aunt was a chaplain at “ground zero” in New York City after 9/11 and wrote a book about her experiences.
