2000 (Junior): Played in all 11 games ? Started five games at right guard and two games at left guard ? Helped the UK offense lead the SEC in total offense (445.5 yards per game) and passing offense (335.4 ypg) ? Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second consecutive year.

1999 (Sophomore): Started all 11 games, plus the Music City Bowl, at right guard … One of four UK offensive linemen who played every offensive down of the season … The UK offense averaged 28.6 points and 374.5 yards per game, ranking in the top five in the SEC in both categories … His pass blocking helped UK lead the SEC and rank 13th nationally in passing offense at 299 yards per game … Studied his way onto the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

1998 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in three regular-season games, UK?s victories over Louisville, Eastern Kentucky, and Vanderbilt … Saw his most extensive action in the Outback Bowl, playing almost the whole game at left guard after injured regular Jeremy Streck exited during the first series of the game … Coaching staff was complimentary of his play … Also gained experience by playing in all five of UK?s junior varsity games.

1997 (Freshman): Redshirted.

High School: First-team all-state as chosen by The Associated Press following his senior year at South HS in Westerville, Ohio … Credited with 87 ?pancake blocks? during the course of his senior season … An all-conference pick as a junior and senior … Also a two-year all-district pick … Three-year letterman and starter at offensive guard and tackle … Also played noseguard in the short-yardage defense … Helped lead his team to an 11-1 record and the regional finals his junior year and a 12-2 mark including a trip to the state championship game, as a sophomore … Coached by Rocky Pentello.
