Major – Elementary Education

1998-99 – UK’s top returning breaststroker… Holds the school record in the 100 breaststroke and owns the second fastest time in the 200 breaststroke in UK history… Finished 12th in the 100 breaststroke and 14th in the 200 breaststroke at the SEC Championships… Was a member of UK’s 200 medley relay that met the NCAA “B” cut… Finished ninth in the 100 breaststroke and 10th in the 200 breaststroke at the Nike Cup… Won the 200 breaststroke against Alabama and LSU… Named honorable mention Academic All-American.

1997-98 – Broke the school record in the 100 breaststroke… Won 100 and 200 breaststroke events at Arkansas… Competed in both breaststroke swims at NCAA Championships, finishing 34th in the 100 and 31st in the 200… Swam to 15th place in the 100 and 12th place in the 200 at the SEC Championships… Set new personal best in 200 breaststroke.

1996-97 – Finished 22nd in the 100 breaststroke, 26th in the 200 breaststroke and 35th in the 200 individual medley at the SEC Championships… Won the 100 breaststroke at Cincinnati…Won the 100 freestyle against the College of Charleston… Won the 200 breaststroke against Indiana.

Pre-College – Finished seventh in the 200 breaststroke and 21st in the 100 breaststroke at the 1996 Spring Junior Nationals… Swam the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke at the 1996 Summer Junior Nationals… Lettered four years in high school and was team MVP at Gallatin High School… Swam for coach Mark Walker and the Excel Aquatics.
