2001-02 – Was a member of the 200y-medley relay team that collected an NCAA “B” cut (1:29.50) at the conference championships … Swam a leg for the 400y-medley relay team that set the school record (3:19.05) … Was part of the 200y-freestyle relay team that recorded the 30th-best time in collegiate competition for the year (1:20.82 – SEC Championships) … Was also on the 400y-freestyle relay squad that clocked a 3:01.52 at the SEC Championships, the 43rd-best time in collegiate competition for the year … Swam a leg for the 400y-medley relay team that set the school record (3:19.05) at the SEC Championships … Set a personal best in the 100y butterfly at the SEC Championships … Placed 17th and set a career best in the 100y backstroke at the SEC Championships, the third-best time in UK history … Also swam the 100y freestyle … Clocked a 45.38 in the leadoff leg of the 400y freestyle relay against South Carolina, the fifth-fastest time in UK history … 20.57 in leadoff leg of 200y freestyle relay is sixth-fastest time in UK history … Swam a 50.08 in the 100y butterfly at the SEC Championships, the seventh-fastest time ever at UK.

2000-01 – Member of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that set school records… Moved into UK’s Top-10 in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke… Made the NCAA “B” cuts as a member of the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams… Competed at the SEC Championships, placing 24th in the 100 backstroke, 29th in the 50 freestyle, setting career-bests in both, and 44th in the 100 freestyle… Had his top showing in the 50 freestyle vs. Tennessee, placing fifth… Placed second in the 100 freestyle three times; at Cincinnati, vs. IUPUI and vs. Louisville… Competed at the SEC East Extravaganza, finishing 13th in the 50 freestyle, 14th in the 100 backstroke and 17th in the 100 freestyle.

Pre-College – Took second in the 50 freestyle, fifth in the 100 freestyle, and seventh in the 100 butterfly in the Brazilian Junior Nationals… Placed fifth in the 50 freestyle, fifth in the 100 freestyle, 12th 100 backstroke, and 14th in the 100 butterfly… Lettered two years in high school… Received the High Point Award for 16-and-unders at the Florida Senior Championship meet in the spring of 1999… Won the Most Valuable Swimmer Award junior and senior years in high school… Played soccer in high school and won the Best Offensive Player Award junior and senior years in high school… Club coach was Billy Wells… Chose UK because he liked the team, the school and the swimming program.
