Prior to UK
Named her HS track and field team’s Most Valuable Player twice … She earned all-city accolades all four years of her career … Asemota earned all-conference, all-region and all-state honors in the last two years of her high school career … She earned top-three finishes in the CIF State Championships in the 100 meters and 200 meters … During her senior year, she clocked times of 11.70 (100 meters) and 24.11 (200 meters), she also long jumped 19-7, the No. 7 mark in the country … Her 100-meter dash time and long jump mark are both school records … She’s also in the Notre Dame record books as a member of the women’s 4×100-meter relay team … She doubled as the CIF Division III Champion in the 100 meters and 200 meters on two occasions … She was named the Notre Dame Athlete of the Year two-straight years.

Daughter of Elliot and Darlyn Asemota … She has three brothers, Dolce, Tyler and Elliot … She also has three sisters, Dior, Ellie and her twin, Fendi, who is also on the track and field team … She is a pre-med student.
