Transferred from Air Force Academy for the 2015 season and became a go-to weapon late in the year … Arrived at Kentucky with a low arm slot and has dropped down to a true sidearm delivery, which presents matchup problems for right-handed hitters … Is a tough as nails competitor with good athleticism and an ability to pitch in key situations … Is a great story, as he was the top reliever for his first two seasons at Air Force … A civil engineering major at AFA, he did not pass the vision test in depth perception required for pilots following his sophomore year in 2014 … After his junior season, Wilson would have been committed to five years of active duty, for a total commitment of nine years, without the option of becoming a pilot, his lifelong goal … Because the opportunity to live out his dream and follow in in his father’s footsteps of being a pilot was no longer an option, the NCAA granted a waiver that allowed him to compete immediately … Appeared in 48 games in two years with Air Force, with two saves in 81.2 innings. 
Summer
Worked in 12 games in relief in the regular season for Aldie, owning a 2-0 record and a 5.92 ERA with five saves in 13.2 innings … Allowed only three walks, with 18 hits and six strikeouts … Earned a three-inning save with only a hit allowed on June 25. 
2015
Came on strong as a relief weapon late in the year, finishing with a 0.82 ERA and a save in 11 appearances … Tossed 11 innings, allowing 10 hits and one earned run, walking six and striking out eight … Allowed opponents to hit .244, with just one of his 10 hits surrendered going for extra bases … Worked five shutout appearances in SEC play, with a save and four hits allowed in 4.2 innings, walking two and striking out two … Did not allow an earned run in four innings, walking three and striking out three … Inherited seven runners, allowing only three to score … Allowed a run in his first appearance of the year at Southern California and unearned runs in his following two appearances, before working scoreless outings in his following seven outings … Worked out of a jam in a win over Missouri, stranding two runners and getting his first career save in 1.1 innings, striking out two … Fanned two in a shutout inning vs. Auburn in the SEC Tournament. 
Air Force (2014)
Appeared in a team-leading 27 games, with seven starts, owning a 5-3 record and a 4.92 ERA … Worked 56.2 innings, allowing 68 hits and just 13 walks, striking out 43, not allowing a homer … The leading pitcher on the staff in conference games, owning a 3-2 mark and a 3.73 ERA in 16 games and two starts, tossing 31.1 innings with eight walks and 23 strikeouts.
Air Force (2013)
