The Kentucky women’s basketball team will hold open tryouts on Monday, September 13 at 4 p.m. ET inside the Joe Craft Center. Tryouts are open to all full-time female students at UK.
Female student interested in trying out must complete the following prior to tryouts:
- Contact and Meet with Amy Tilley (amy.tilley@uky.edu) in the Women’s Basketball Office (338 Lexington Ave, Joe Craft Center) to receive a yellow tryout card
- Complete a sports physical (UK Student Health)
- Complete a sickle cell test and have result prior to tryouts (UK Student Health)
- Turn in sports physical and sickle cell results to UK WBB Trainer Courtney Jones (courtneyjones@uky.edu) and she will sign your tryout card
- Turn in tryout card to Jenna Wesley in the compliance office who will clear you for tryouts after confirming NCAA requirements
COVID PROTOCOLS
- Covid PCR test through Wildhealth no more than 3 days prior to tryout date or proof of positive COVID result within the last 90 days (courtneyjones@uky.edu)
- Mandated mask wear while not actually participating in strenuous activity
- Maintain physical distance as much as possible
- Bring your own filled water bottle
