Kentucky Track & Field Begins NCAA Indoor Championships Thursday
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky will have 11 entries for the 2021 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, which are taking place Thursday through Saturday in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the Randal Tyson Center.
UK has eight women’s entries and three men’s entries. The first Wildcat in action will be Annika Williams, who will compete in the women’s pentathlon on Thursday.
Preliminary running events will be held Friday, featuring Lance Lang, Dwight St. Hillaire, Abby Steiner, Dajour Miles, Megan Moss, Tori Herman and Masai Russell. Finals in those events will be Saturday, the same day that UK’s school-record-setting men’s and women’s 4×400-meter relays will compete.
ESPN3 will stream the championships live, starting on Thursday.
A re-air of the championship will take place Sunday, March 14, at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.
